Document the existing layout

Keep a wide photo of the equipment pad as well as a readable label photo. Tell the supplier about tight access, a nearby wall or other equipment that limits space. Do not assume a replacement will reuse every existing connection.

02

Ask for a complete job description

Separate equipment, plumbing changes, electrical work, startup and disposal in the proposal. Ask what could change the price after inspection. In DFW, provide your city first and share the exact service address only with the business you authorize.

READY FOR THE CONVERSATION

What to have ready

  • Full pump model, not only the motor label
  • Reason for replacement and any previous diagnosis
  • Desired completion date and installation needs

A common question

Does a replacement quote confirm stock?

Only if the seller explicitly confirms the item, location and reservation terms. A suggested model and an available unit are different things.

MAKE YOUR REQUEST SPECIFIC

A useful starting message

Please quote a complete pump replacement for my existing system, including installation, startup and any excluded work.

Replace the bracketed details with your equipment information. The request is reviewed by you before it is saved.
